Mason Coon

Mason was born and raised in sunny Long Beach, California; the youngest of five children. He was part of the Program of Additional Curricular Experiences (PACE) at Long Beach Polytechnic High School where he completed thirty-six college units by completing Advanced Placement (AP) courses and passing the required examinations. His unweighted high school GPA was a 4.0 with his weighted GPA being 4.58. This allowed him to skip some G.E. classes at The University of Southern California, enabling him to take more upper division Business Administration courses. While at USC, Mason also obtained a Minor in Cinematic Arts with a Focus in Film Critical Studies and was an executive officer in Pi Kappa Alpha for two years, responsible for the drafting of the Fraternity Constitution. Mason became an alumnus of USC in May of 2015 when he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Data Sciences and Operations as well as his Minor in Cinematic Arts with a focus on Film Critical Studies. Mason is currently working as a data science professional at LBR Associates, Inc. and is an active alumni advisor for Pi Kappa Alpha, Gamma Eta Chapter.
